Brief Notes on the Memorial Service

Grandmaster Paik's memorial service was very nice. Turnout was very good. Peter, Mia and a number of friends and students offered some lovely remembrances of Dr. Paik. It was, needless to say, a bittersweet experience.

There was a luncheon following the ceremony. It was great to have a chance to see so many students and friends connect and tell (and re-tell) some great "back-in-the-day" stories.

Thank you, to all who attended the service yesterday. Your presence was warmly appreciated.

Thank you too, to all who could not attend but were there in spirit. There was a lot of "good energy" in the room yesterday and I attribute that in part to a lot of friends sending positive thoughts in Grandmaster Paik's direction.
